Step-by-step
- 1
Get your Venmo link
In the Venmo app, tap your profile picture ā share icon ā Copy Link.
- 2
Open Link2QR
Go to link2qr.com and select the 'URL' type.
- 3
Paste your link
Paste the venmo.com/u/yourhandle URL.
- 4
Add Venmo blue
Optionally set the QR color to Venmo blue (#3D95CE) and add a Venmo logo in the center.
- 5
Download and print
Download as SVG. Print on rigid material at 2-3 inches for tip jars, 4+ inches for storefront signage.
Pre-fill the payment amount
Venmo supports deep links that open the app with the amount and note pre-filled. Use this URL format:
venmo://paycharge?txn=pay&recipients=YOUR_HANDLE&amount=10¬e=Tip
Replace YOUR_HANDLE with your Venmo username. Paste the full URL into Link2QR. When scanned, the Venmo app opens with the amount and note already filled in - the user just taps "Pay".
Note: deep links only work if Venmo is installed on the scanner's phone. For a universal fallback, use your venmo.com/u/yourhandle profile URL instead.
