Cash App's built-in QR only works inside the Cash App. This standard QR code scans from the iOS Camera, Android Camera, and Google Lens.
Append /AMOUNT to your cash.app URL to pre-fill the payment, e.g. cash.app/$yourtag/20 for $20.

It only works when both people open Cash App and use the in-app scanner. A standard QR code from Link2QR scans from any phone camera and opens the cash.app web link, which then deep-links into Cash App if installed.
Adding /AMOUNT to your cash.app URL pre-fills the value, but the sender can still edit it. For locked amounts use Cash App invoices.
