Terms of Service
Last updated: September 11, 2026
By using link2qr.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
Link2QR is a free tool that generates static QR codes in your web browser. No account is required. There is no usage limit, no watermark, and no expiration on the codes you create.
Your QR codes belong to you
You own every QR code you generate. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes, including print, packaging, signage, and resale, with no attribution required and no license fee.
Because generation happens on your device, we never hold a copy and cannot retrieve a code for you later. Save your files when you download them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Encode links to malware, phishing pages, or other content intended to deceive or harm the person who scans the code
- Use the site to violate any applicable law or third-party right
- Attempt to disrupt the service, including through automated request volume that degrades it for others
- Misrepresent a QR code generated here as being endorsed or verified by Link2QR
We do not see what you encode, so enforcement is limited by design. Responsibility for the destination of a QR code rests entirely with the person who created it.
Programmatic and agent use
The URL API described at /url-api may be used by scripts, applications, and AI agents at reasonable volume. We may rate limit or block traffic that places disproportionate load on the service.
Advertising
Some pages display third-party advertising, which funds the free tool. We do not control and do not endorse the content of those ads or the sites they link to. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are handled.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption, or that every generated code will scan correctly on every device. Stylized and artistic QR codes trade some scan reliability for appearance, which is why the site advises testing before printing.
Always test a QR code with more than one scanner before committing it to print.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Link2QR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, including costs associated with reprinting materials that contain a QR code.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
